Ahead of the release of iOS 11 and macOS High Sierra, ZuluDesk is proud to announce full support of these new operating systems starting today. We always aim to support new versions of iOS and macOS the moment Apple releases and this is no exception.
With our new release of ZuluDesk (v5.0) we have added support for:
Apple Volume Purchase Program:
• Added support for the new Location Based VPP Tokens in Apple School Manager.
• New User Interface for managing VPP Accounts.
Apple Deployment Programs:
• DEP Profiles are now always supervised and MDM is mandatory.
• Added extra skip options for iOS: Keyboard Chooser and Apple Watch Migration.
• Added extra skip options for tvOS: Sign in to TV Provider and TV Home screen layout synchronization.
iOS 11:
• Added port and ForceTLS option for AirPrint in profiles.
• Added new iOS restrictions: AirPrint, Allow VPN creation, Allow system app removal, Allow Modifying Cellular Plan and Allow setting up new nearby devices.
• Added extra skip options for tvOS: Sign in to TV Provider and TV Home screen layout synchronization.
• Added new iOS DNS Extension payload.
• Added setting to retain cellular data plan when wiping a device.
• Added new Classroom restrictions: Unprompted app and device lock for Classroom and Automatic joining of Classes for Classroom.
tvOS 11:
• Added support for configuring the tvOS Homescreen Layout using a new Drag & Drop editor
• Added new whitelist and blacklist settings for tvOS.
• Added new tvOS restrictions: Media Content Restrictions, Siri Profanity filter, AirPlay Security & Prevent modifying device name.
macOS 10.13:
• Added new macOS restrictions: Allow Content Caching, Allow AirPrint, Disable Siri setup during login.
• Added support for Restarting and Shutting down macOS devices.
• Added new macOS User Management options like Listing, Unlocking and Deleting local users.
• Added support for deferring macOS updates up to 90 days.
• Added support for (re)setting the EFI password. This can be configured on a per-device basis, in bulk or in a DEP profile if the macOS machine is being enrolled using DEP.
New tvOS 11 homescreen layout
